Beer BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

1 rack pork ribs
1 bottle of Great Lakes beer (options: Blackout Stout, Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, or Eliot Ness Amber Lager)
Seasoning of your choice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc)
Edmund Fitzgerald Porter BBQ Sauce or Dortmunder Gold Lager BBQ Sauce

Method

Preheat the oven to 275°F. Rinse ribs, remove silverskin, and pat dry. Place ribs boneside down onto rack in a roasting dish. Pour in beer and season the ribs as much or as little as you'd like with your favorite rub spices. Cover the roasting dish tightly with foil and bake in the oven for 2-3 hours or until tender. Once tender, remove ribs and place on grill. Spread BBQ sauce generously over the ribs and grill each side over medium heat, turning occasionally and basting with sauce, until ribs have caramalized to your liking (or internal temperature hits 145°F.) Serve with more BBQ sauce and your favorite side dishes.
