The taps are on, the beer is pouring, and class is in session! Learn all about how to fine tune your senses the Great Lakes Brewing Co. way at Hop College: Sensory Expedition. Join our Beer Education crew as they help you understand what it takes to serve and drink a great beer, and what issues might arise when things don’t go as planned.

Students who enroll in Hop College: Sensory Expedition will head to the classroom where we will help you tap into a deeper understanding of craft beer with a guided tasting of GLBC staples. We'll highlight, taste, and smell different ingredients and food with flavors that our beers evoke to help you build your sensory vocabulary. We'll also explore the common off flavors that can occur in beer.

Students who complete Sensory Expedition will leave with a special Hop College tulip glass (pictured below), and official beer nerd bragging rights. Add-on tickets are also available for an exclusive Hop College notebook and GLBC pen, pictured below the Perfect Pour glass.
