Great Lakes Brewing Company looks at Human Resources not as a cost to control but as an asset to grow. The company believes in the principles of sustainability: to provide social, environmental and financial returns, the so-called
"triple bottom line". The social bottom line begins with employees for whom we seek to provide an environment conducive to a positive work experience for those who apply themselves.
GLBC values continuous improvement and believes that it relates to the organization as a whole as well as to all employees. GLBC's very existence depends upon its people because they make the business work. GLBC attempts to create an environment in which an employee can be valuable and motivated to do the work necessary to make the company a success. Thus, GLBC is committed to a teamwork philosophy. The employee's dedication to and participation in this teamwork concept proves to be most valuable and will ensure the company's success and growth.
A Great Place To Work
Great Lakes Brewing Company offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, a performance based incentive program, paid holidays, paid vacation, personal time off and an employee discount program. In addition, there is a 7% pay differential for 2nd shift and a 10% pay differential for 3rd shift Brewery employees. In return, GLBC asks for solid and reliable employees who are dedicated to their work and committed to the quality standards set in all areas. As proponents of sustainability, GLBC measures with a "triple bottom line" that considers financial, environmental and social results.
